June 2021

Chapter Meeting

Thursday, June 17, 2021

11:30 am - 1:15 pm

IN PERSON!

Resurrection Lutheran Church

1612 Meadow Edge Lane

Spring, Texas 77388

Topic: Insurance -

“Emerging Risk / Preventing Child on Child Abuse”

Ministries are 7 times more likely to have an incident where a child abuses another child rather than an adult abusing a child. This session will review ways to prevent this risk and increase awareness. We encourage you to bring your youth and children’s ministry leaders.

Gary Benson and Paula Burns

Gary Benson is entering his 37th year in insurance, almost all of

those as an agent and also almost all of those years working with

churches and other non-profits.  Partnering with Insurance One

Agency in 2003, our independent insurance agency is one of the

largest insurance agencies serving nonprofit organizations. Gary

has been married for 35 years, has three daughters and 10

grandchildren.

Paula Burns specializes in serving the risk management and

insurance needs of non-profit and higher education institutions.

She has been in the insurance industry for 35 years and has

earned the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC)

and Certified Risk Manager (CRM). Her career began in property

and casualty claims, laying a foundation for Paula to be an

advocate for clients when they need her the most, during a claim

or crisis. Paula is a faculty member of The National Alliance and

serves on numerous boards.

When she is not teaching, or at the agency, you can find her on

her horse farm close to Whitney, TX with her husband of 29 years.

Paula and her husband Gary have two children and two

grandchildren. She joined Insurance One Agency in 2010 because

they have a heart to serve those who serve.
