Topic: Facility Management 101: The Basics,
was originally designed 9 years ago for training at Truett Seminary in Waco, Texas as a part of their course “The Business of Ministry”. Since that time, it has been shared at the TCN National Conference, TCN Fast Track, local chapters, and has been part of the TCN Certification Program at DBU for the past 4 years.
FM 101 is a comprehensive 2-hour training on the basics in Facility
Management including theory, cost savings, and the how to. Each attendee
will receive a workbook to use in class and use as a take away.
Rick Cadden, CCA, CCBA, is Pastor of Business Administration at
First Baptist Church, Burleson, Texas. He has 25 years of
leadership in Support Staff, Food Service, Facility Management,
Operations, Budget and Finance, and HR. Certified by
The Church Network and the Baptist Leader Network. During
his 25 years in ministry, Rick has developed tools for facility
management that will enable the church to save
money on facilities and become more effective in operations.
